summer learing jornney week 1: Where I come from #2

Where I come from:
My family is mostly New Zealand European, But my Dad is 1/4 Latvian and if you don't know where that is it is a little country right next to Russia and has two million people living there. My mum says I am also a little bit Scottish because her grandpa was half Scottish. I was born in England and some of my ancestors come from there But I was raised in New Zealand. I also have a tiny bit of Irish and Swedish in me.
this is where I got the photo from https://postcardsnz.com/collections/postcards/products/gi2991

  1. Mōrena Bruno, I hope you’re having a fantastic morning :)

Thank you for doing week one, day one, activity two. It was really cool to see where your family is from, I enjoyed reading it :) Have you ever visited any of the places where your family comes from? I'm interested to know more - what is important or special to you and your family? What language(s) do you speak?

I am Pākehā but my dad’s family comes from England and my Mum’s family comes from Scotland and Canada, which is pretty cool because it means I can go and live in all of these countries if I want to! My family is quite small and live in many different places, but I have a lot of friends and family friends who are like family to me. The most important thing about my family is that we are really open and honest and have great communication, my parents are also really loving towards me :)

I only speak English but I would love to learn Te Reo Maori and Spanish.

Thanks for posting! I look forward to reading more of your posts over the summer.
    Eliza :)

  2. I also really like how you've added an image to your post! It makes it more eye-catching and effective :) Next time you use images from the internet, make sure you attribute the image - this just means copy the link from where you found the image and put it next to the image on the post, so we can see exactly where you found it :)

    Thanks,
    Eliza.
